Our voting guidelines – which are developed by our Corporate Governance and Responsible Investment Group and approved by our regional Corporate Governance Committees – are applied thoughtfully on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration specific circumstances at a company that are relevant to inform our voting decisions. This approach is consistent with our expectation that companies comply with their respective market codes and best practice, or disclose publicly why they have not.
Our policies are reviewed and updated annually to take into consideration market and policy developments.
