Full-time Analyst Programme
Each business area offers its own specialized training programme for full-time Analysts. All programmes begin with an introduction to BlackRock. Further training for some areas is required. These unique programmes offer training by outstanding managers while giving you the opportunity to build a network of contacts.
In the U.K,. our training also includes preparation for the Investment Management Certification (IMC) exam, and if applicable, for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam.
Specialized programmes include:
- Portfolio Management Graduate Programme – A three-year development programme that begins with training and continues through your career. There may be rotational assignments depending on business requirements.
- Account Management Programme – A development programme that begins with training and continues through your career. There may be rotational assignments depending on business requirements.
- BlackRock Solutions & Technology Programme – A development programme that begins with training, followed by continuous development within BlackRock Solutions.
- Portfolio Analytics Programme – A development programme that begins with training and continues through assignments within the Portfolio Administration Group and more broadly within the BlackRock Solutions Group.

Training
- Introduction to BlackRock through our orientation programme
- Overview of financial markets and business skills through the institutional core training programme
- Customised Investment Management training by industry leaders
- Training in sales techniques, pitching and probing
- Preparation for the Investment Management Certification (IMC) exam within first three months (U.K. only)

Assignments

12-month Placement Programme
Our 12-month Placements offer you the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience within our BlackRock Solutions group. This year-long programme will see you work as part of a team on real projects and take responsibility for achieving set targets within our technology infrastructure team. You will grow in knowledge, skills and confidence and gain a great insight into the financial world, experiencing the team spirit that makes BlackRock such a unique place to work.
Qualifications / What We Look For

Education
- A 2.1 or above bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent academic performance
Experience
- Work experience or internship experience a plus
- Financial services work experience desirable
