Aladdin Portfolio Solutions Group (APSG)

The Aladdin Portfolio Solutions Group is a centralized production group dedicated to ensuring that all information required for the investment management process including positions, security data, pricing, risk, cash, net asset value (NAV), performance and compliance are delivered through the BlackRock Green Package consistently, accurately and on a timely basis.

The Aladdin Portfolio Solutions Group is composed of five groups, which perform a variety of different functions.

The Portfolio On-Boarding and Control Group is responsible for centralizing new account set up, maintenance, amendments and terminations for all portfolios globally across channels.

The Investment Services Group is responsible for the production and quality control of all information necessary to manage investment portfolios on Aladdin. This team delivers daily NAVs, compliance and official returns, in addition to analytics, pricing and security data.

The Portfolio Compliance Group is responsible for implementing controls and processes necessary to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and client requirements relating to trading and investments, including core Aladdin pre- and post-trade compliance, non-Aladdin trading compliance, mutual fund monitoring and reporting, global syndicate offering review and Separately Managed Accounts/Private Investors compliance.

The Cash and Reconciliations Group acts as the primary operating interface with the Portfolio Management Group cash desks and with the custodians for cash and asset reconciliations.

The Institutional Administration Group is responsible for Portfolio Administration for the US and EMEA Institutional Separate Accounts covering Fixed Income, Equity and Fiduciary. This Group is responsible for performing NAV calculations, performance, reporting and reconciliations with trustees and custodians.

APSG hires professionals with industry experience and undergraduates just entering the workforce. Industry professionals come from a wide range of backgrounds.
