Experience our culture and meet the people of BlackRock

My role is to increase awareness of BlackRock products among our Japanese distributors by producing marketing materials such as newsletters, market reports and booklets on specific funds.

A Rewarding Role

My position is motivating because I can influence the sales of our funds through my work and it is rewarding to see the articles on our products in magazines and newspapers. Communication skills, analytical skills, language skills and global thinking are important criteria for my position. My basic understanding of economics is definitely useful in my role as well, since most of the products I cover are closely related to the global equity market.

“One BlackRock” Culture

I am proud of our team-oriented, “One BlackRock” culture. I believe BlackRock is unique in this industry due to the flat nature of the firm’s culture. My interaction with senior management is valuable because even though they are busy, they take the time to listen to and answer any question I may have.

I Can Utilize My Skills

I chose to work for BlackRock because I believe the financial industry is where I can best utilize my language and communication skills and educational background, but most of all, the people at BlackRock are proud of what they are doing and are great to work with.
