MISSION
Contribute to the success of the firm by engaging and realizing the full potential of BlackRock's culturally and ethnically diverse professionals

OBJECTIVES
The BlackRock Multicultural Network will focus initially on those groups generally underrepresented in the leadership of the finance profession in the US, by working on the following objectives:

• Build the pipeline of talent

• Partner with Campus and Lateral Recruiting Teams to maximize BlackRock's potential in attracting and on-boarding diverse talent at all  levels

• Participate in on-campus events targeting diverse candidates

• Support lateral recruiting efforts to identify diverse candidates

• Assist in on-boarding new diverse hires at all levels

• Employee engagement and development

• Promote career development, retention and engagement of diverse professionals

• Provide insights to the organization in order to continue building an inclusive culture

• Deliver professional and career development programs geared towards diverse employees

• Increase visibility of network members, diverse leaders and those that actively contribute to promoting diversity and inclusiveness

• Community involvement and growing our Network

• Provide insights into emerging and other targeted markets and help develop BlackRock's business in those markets

• Foster connections internally and externally with the community and with clients

• Expand the networks of diverse talent both internally and externally

• Participate in BlackRock's philanthropic focus on providing educational opportunities to youth
