The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, signed into U.S. law in July 2010, covers almost every aspect of U.S. financial regulation and provides broad authority for federal regulators to define details critical to legislative implementation. Through the Dodd-Frank Speaker Series, we explore questions and issues – particularly as they relate to reform of the OTC derivatives market – of central importance to investors.
