In this new world of retirement, many investors are grappling with the challenges of planning for their futures. With the realization that a typical 65-year-old couple has a 50% chance of living to age 94, confidence in achieving a financially secure retirement has declined. 46% of investors surveyed by BlackRock said they were considering a later retirement than they initially planned, up from 28% last year. This finding is not surprising—retirement is viewed as more challenging today than it was five years ago by 94% of investors surveyed, and more than half (51%) believe they are too "risk averse" in their investing.

It's never too late—or too early—to save for the future. Browse our comprehensive investor resources for navigating the new world of retirement.
