41%: Investors who think US fiscal/budget issues are one of the greatest risks to their investments
Investors these days are hesitant. It's an uncertain world, and they're cautious with their hard-earned money. But what exactly is holding them back? In the recent BlackRock Investor Watch™ survey, we asked investors about the greatest risks to their investments over the coming 12 months. Investors pointed to 3 top risks: all macroeconomic issues outside of their control. 57% of investors see the impact of unforeseen global or domestic economic events as a risk. Market volatility is viewed as a risk by 46% of respondents. And lastly, 41% of investors see US fiscal/budget issues as a risk. As markets continue to watch events in Washington, we will see whether investor concerns change.
