89%: Investors not actively making portfolio changes
BlackRock's Barometer survey learned that 89% of investors are not actively making changes to their portfolio, and that many are holding a lot of cash. The top reasons investors are holding cash are that they are uncertain about where to invest, think it is a poor investing environment or are afraid of investing/losing money. However, holding cash can lose value in the long term, especially with today's low rates.
