It invests primarily in government securities, investment grade corporate bonds, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, and approximately 40% in shares of a fee-waived mutual fund, which can invest in a wide variety of investment grade fixed income securities. These portfolios are expected to have durations of one to three years. An investor selecting this strategy may risk some loss of principal.
